Monday Morning Crowdfunding Report: September 23, 2013

crowdfunding Indiegogo KickstarterEvery Monday, We link to the crowdfunding pages of games from Oklahoma developers and other interesting crowdfunding projects from Oklahomans. Music, comics, table-top games and more. If it might be of interest to gamers and game developers we will show them off.

While we have a shortage of active projects this week, we have found a new game campaign on IndieGogo.

Here is the primary list of crowdfunding campaigns:

Zap-Kapow! by Steve Roop is a comic book pricing app for smart phones. Steve is looking to bring his iPhone app to Android devices. He is looking for $65,000. His project has raised $705 with 23 days to go.

Cycle by Christopher Warman is a sci-fi drama short film about a man seeking to find a way to save the life of his wife. Cycle successfully funded with $1,410 raised. We wish them the best of luck as they finish their film.

Ethics of Dragon Slaying by Andrew Reddin is a children’s picture book using a dragon slaying metaphor for teaching children morals and ethics. Ethics failed to reach its funding goal having only raised $332 of its $5,000 goal.

New addition:

Spheroid by From Soy Sauce is billed as a retro style game inspired by Metroid, Bionicle and Beast Wars. This is being made by a trio of brothers in between college courses. They are seeking $7,150 to finish the game and have already raised $225 with 49 days left.
