Three years ago, while Goldfire Studios was working on Casino RPG, they found the web audio options available to them at the time to be sorely lacking. What did they do? They took the initiative and created an audio API that allowed them to easily support audio on multiple web browsers. Howler.js was born.
They have already sent out surveys to their backers and are working on fulfilling the rewards. Those who purchased a physical copy of the game can expect the game by the end of September while all backers who paid $8 or more will get a print and play copy by the end of the month.
Over on Kickstarter, we have another great game that is on the last few days of its run towards success. Chicken Run, by Pround Games, was successfully funded last week for $5,000 and is still kicking. This game has reached 105 people so far and the designers are looking to reach at least one of their stretch goals by the end of the week. Continue reading
