Recently, we have discovered a great looking game currently under development. This game is designed by Critical Code a small indie shop out of Nowata, OK. The game they are developing is Crossroads, a first person survival strategy game. According to the game’s current Fundly campaign:
Crossroads is an independent video game being developed by Critical Code. Crossroads is a survival-strategy as it uses every survival skill you know. The game is set in the 1990’s. One day, as you are leaving for work, you notice something odd out the window. You go to the window for a closer look. It’s a bunch of men roaming the streets and armor. As you run in panic, you begin to think straight, as this is key to life. From here, it’s all in your control. You must decide what’s next.
While there isn’t a lot of game play to see in the game at the moment, the world looks great. Crossroads is being developed using CryEngine one of several AAA engines made available at reasonable indie prices. Critical Code has been working hard over the last 6 months to develop out Crossroads story and scenario, but there is still a lot left to be done.
They are looking for help developing the game. While Critical Code Founder Mark Savala and artist Trey Bishop are doing what they can to make the game the best it can be, they would appreciate help.
