Every Monday, We link to the crowdfunding pages of games from Oklahoma developers and other interesting crowdfunding projects from Oklahomans. Music, comics, table-top games and more. If it might be of interest to gamers and game developers we will show them off.
We have new campaigns this week. Some really exciting ones at that.
Here is the primary list of crowdfunding campaigns:
Failed Campaigns:
8-Bit Swordsman by John Bryan. 8-bit Swordsman is a retro Zelda inspired table top game in which 2-4 players compete with one another using attacks and counters inspired by the original NES Zelda game. This campaign only managed to raise $262 of the $5,500 sought.
Overdrive Road Rally by Summit Interactive. Overdrive is a racing game with similar elements to Mario Kart and other racing games. It features a wide array of real life vehicles and off road driving action. This campaign failed to gain any traction and only raised $5 of the $15,000 sought.
New Campaign:
All Hands On Deck by Salamander Games. All Hands On Deck is a pirate themed card game for 2-4 players. Players bid to hire a full ship crew before their opponents do. Salamander is seeking $11,500 to fund the game and have already raised $3,217 with 26 days left.
Jonathan Padilla’s Senior Recital. Jonathan is a composer looking to create music for movies, tv and games. As part of this, he is planning his Senior Recital featuring music composed for those mediums. He is currently working on a score for Oklahoma based Cowhouse Games’ Shards of Erem. He is seeking $2,000 and has raised $335 with 59 days left.
That’s it for this week. We hope to see the progress of these and to see more come out.
